WOLVERINE TUBE (CANADA) INC. ANNOUNCES
NAME CHANGE TO GREAT LAKES COPPER, INC.

London, Ontario based Wolverine Tube (Canada) Inc. announced on Friday March 26, 2010, at the CMX trade show in Toronto, that after 52 years it now has a new company name “GREAT LAKES COPPER, INC.”
In July of 2008, the London based plant of Wolverine Tube Inc. was sold to a group of Canadian private investors, which includes members of the London management team. The company has
since invested in new equipment, new products and acquisitions to offer customers a broader range of products and better service.
“Given our greater penetration in the US market, we felt that a name change would help differentiate our business from that of our former owner. The CMX show, the largest of its kind
in Canada, offered the perfect platform for the announcement,” said President Don Wellington.
“We are proud of our Company and of our new name”
GREAT LAKES COPPER, INC. was chosen from one of over 150 names submitted through an
internal contest held with the employees of the London plant.
